Driving instructor at Rijschool Denhaag with years of experience in The Hague

Background

Rijschool Denhaag was founded in 2004 with one goal: guiding students towards their driving licence in an honest, personal way. Since then, hundreds of people in the greater The Hague area have passed their test with us. The instructor knows the roads of The Hague inside out — from quiet residential streets in Rijswijk and Wassenaar to busy junctions in the city centre and the motorway approaches towards Delft and Zoetermeer.

After more than twenty years of teaching, the approach has not changed: every lesson plan is adapted to the individual student, not to a standard schedule. Whether you are sitting behind the wheel for the first time or have previously been with another driving school, we always start with an honest picture of where you stand.

Teaching method

Before each lesson we discuss what went well last time and what still needs attention. During the lesson we focus not only on technique but also on confidence and traffic awareness. Afterwards you always receive clear feedback: what you did well, what you can still improve and what goal we are working towards in the next lesson.

We work in structured blocks so that progress is maintained. This means no lesson time is wasted on repetition, and you can see step by step what you have achieved. The approach is direct but never impatient — learning takes time, and we respect that.

Languages: Dutch, Turkish and English

Not everyone thinks fastest in Dutch. Rijschool Denhaag offers driving lessons in Dutch, Turkish and English. Traffic rules, driving instructions and feedback can all be explained in your strongest language. This reduces miscommunication behind the wheel and makes the learning process considerably smoother.

Multilingual support is not only useful for newcomers; people who speak another language at home but understand Dutch perfectly well also find that targeted explanations in their first language speed up learning.

Results: 89% pass rate

The average pass rate at Rijschool Denhaag is 89%. That is well above the national average. This figure is the result of a targeted preparation: we schedule the driving test only when a student is truly ready. We make no empty promises, but we do make sure you go to the CBR with confidence.

Students who previously stopped at another driving school or have failed multiple times receive extra guidance. We analyse what went wrong before and work specifically on those points. The result is not just a driving licence, but the genuine feeling that you can drive.
